How was hot sauce supposed to fit into that episode? No matter.
I thought this duel was more interesting than the first one, but it still was fairly annoying. "Duel with passion" repeated over and over again gets very old, very fast.

No. The rules say once one player drops to 0, the duel is over. Since the card does 200 damage in two 100 damage intervals, she dropped to 0 while he was still at 100. He won the duel fair and square utilizing her own card. o ok |

Hot sauce in Duel Distractions part 2 was in no way related to the hot sauce from Chumley vs. his dad.
The scene was before the duel, after Bastion left the coliseum and was lovesick. Everybody followed him back to Slifer Red dorm, where Bastion went into the cafeteria. Everybody else stays in the doorway and tries to get some information out of him, and Bastion, distracted by hormones, picks up a bottle of Tabasco sauce instead of whatever else he was drinking, and drinks the hot sauce right out of the bottle.

That sounds odd. I imagine that drinking hot sauce would be an awful experience...

It would be an awful experience if you can't handle spicy foods. My little brother drinks hot sauce out of the bottle pretty often. And, he now has his own personal bottle so the rest of my family doesn't have to use the same bottle.
The concept of the soul battle was an interesting addition to the duel. Although, Bastion's remarks about Taniya got a little annoying...

Well I for one can't stand spicy foods. I think it just detracts from the overall taste of whatever I'm eating.
